I love life and I am to blessed to be stressed!

I'm too Blessed to be STRESSED!!

I remember when I first heard this saying. I thought it was kinda cute, But I never really understood it. I just thought yeah I'm blessed so that means I can't be stressed. However with our life struggles right now it can be very hard. Since we have a lot of trials going on right now. I had to put this into practice. The months of July, August have been really ruff for us. Lots of hard to learn trials. The other day I sat there and thought "How exactly am I blessed and how do I stop myself from getting stressed?" Simple. Read your Bible or Scriptures whatever you wanna call it. It's the same thing.

Now I know that seems like a shock horror. For those of you that do not read it. But it really does help. As Psalm 9:9 points out " The lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble." So there is no better time than when you're feeling pressured to fall on your knees. The Scriptures have some powerful verses that can help you during hard times. Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches us to " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Another reason why turning to God is important during times of stress is because He comforts you. There's times when I have hard days and I just am tired, frustrated, and stressed and I just wanna sleep. But then I remember Matthew 11:28 " Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, I will give you rest". And I literally just go to Him. I get on my knees and lay everything that's on my heart to Him. Remember, prayer is a conversation with God, there isn't a set way of doing it nor do you have to say certain things in a specific way. But just opening up to God is the beginning of the one-on-one connection needed to open the floodgates of heaven. Funnily enough yesterday I was praying my heart out then I just went silent, I just stopped praying because I remembered something my bishop told me. If prayer is a conversation, " make time to LISTEN to what God is saying" as well when you listen to God there's so much that can come out of it and it may just be the answer to a hardship you've been going through. I'm telling you, God works in weird, amazing ways; you never know what He's got in store for you! The book of Psalms is such an amazing book when it comes to Leaning on God for strength as well as the Book of Mormon. For those of you that have not had a chance to read it I encourage all of you to read it. It is a must read. Joseph Smith said, “a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book.” Did you know that "Those who seek the Lord lack no good thing" (Proverbs 34:10) So this means everything and anything that is good in the eyes of God ,You will have so you can't fail with God on your side ... that's impossible! And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, If these things are not true; and if ye ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ he will manifest the truth of it unto you by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things. (Moroni 10:4) This is in the Book of Mormon.

My friend, even during the times when you take your eyes off Jesus, He never takes His eyes off you. And when you cry out to Him, He will immediately stretch out His hand to catch hold of you. You will not go under. These trials can never get to hard. Because God does not give you trials you can not handle. He allows these trials only to make you stronger and mold you into the being he desires you to become. What doesn't kill you can only make you stronger remember that. I remember I use to not think about the Lord it was so sad. That was the hardest part of my life. I was always depressed and never felt happy. I was not of any religion at the time and I knew about the Lord but just did not acknowledge him. But after hitting rock bottom. I found the gospel and got baptized 02/09/2002 I found my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I became a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints I know that I can get through anything. I just put God first and now I know everything will be fine. I will not be disappointed.
I pray that anyone does not get offended by reading this. God loves you all I am just trying put my point across. We are never alone. Never let stress get in the way because God has a plan for you. Just counsel with him like you would your best friend. Because he Loves you.

I pray anyone that was reading this is abundantly blessed!!!
